Three Missions in rural Guatemala for 2026. One Commitment.

EP has successfully completed its third humanitarian medical mission to Guatemala this year, continuing our long-term commitment to expanding access to healthcare in the rural communities of Valencia, Jutiapa.

During this latest mission, our volunteer team provided frontline medical care to more than 120 patients each day, delivering evaluations, treatment, medications, and health education to children and adults with limited access to medical services.

Beyond the clinic, our team partnered with local community members to install six cleaner-burning ventilated stoves, helping reduce indoor smoke exposure and improve respiratory health for families for years to come.

This mission was made possible through the continued support of Envision Healthcare, whose commitment to humanitarian service continues to expand access to care while inspiring healthcare professionals and future generations alike. We were especially honored to welcome members of the Envision team and their families into the field, reinforcing the shared belief that service is strengthened when communities, organizations, and families come together.

EP remains committed to sustainable partnerships in Guatemala, where we continue to support healthcare initiatives serving 31 Indigenous communities through ongoing outreach, education, and collaboration with local partners.

We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, partner, translator, and community leader who made this mission possible. Together, we are strengthening healthcare systems, improving lives, and building healthier futures—one community at a time.
