EP is pleased to announce three upcoming humanitarian medical missions to Guatemala in March, July, and November 2027, continuing our long-term commitment to expanding access to healthcare in the rural communities of Valencia, Jutiapa.
Building on years of successful collaboration with our local partners, these missions will bring volunteer healthcare professionals together to provide essential medical care, medications, diagnostic services, and health education to children and adults with limited access to healthcare.
Beyond the clinic, volunteers will continue supporting community-based public health initiatives, including the installation of cleaner-burning ventilated stoves to reduce indoor smoke exposure and improve long-term respiratory health.
Through sustainable partnerships and ongoing outreach, EP remains committed to strengthening healthcare access across 31 Indigenous communities in rural Guatemala, combining direct medical services with initiatives that create lasting improvements in community health.
We invite physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, medical students, and other passionate volunteers to join us in 2027 and become part of this ongoing mission.
Mission dates and volunteer applications are now available under the Volunteer tab on our website.
We look forward to welcoming new and returning volunteers as we continue working alongside our partners and local communities to build healthier futures in Guatemala.
