Tracy MacIntosh, MD, MPH, MS Mission Leader
Tracy MacIntosh is an emergency physician, educator, and global health leader dedicated to advancing health equity across borders. As a Mission Leader with Emergency Project, she has been instrumental in transforming our Guatemala clinic—built from the ground up in less than a year—into a center now providing diagnostics, lab testing, and continuity of care for 31 Mayan villages, with patient volumes rivaling a busy U.S. emergency department. Her work has spanned Haiti, Tanzania, South Africa, and Guatemala, where she has led initiatives blending clinical excellence with systemic change. A committed mentor, she brings residents and students into the field, fostering the next generation of providers while building capacity in underserved communities.
