Frank LoVecchio, MD, MPH Mission Leader, Director of Education
Frank is one of the world’s most respected voices in emergency medicine and humanitarian care, ranked among the top 2% of most-cited scientists worldwide and recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in health care. He has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and helped shape national practice guidelines while mentoring generations of physicians. Beyond his academic accomplishments, Dr. LoVecchio devotes considerable time each year volunteering in refugee camps and crisis zones, bringing life-saving care and training to underserved communities in more than 20 countries. He served as keynote speaker at our first CME Global Health Conference and as a frontline provider during our refugee mission in Jordan, inspiring everyone with his rare blend of brilliance, humility, humor, and humanity.
