Father Artur Demkowicz Spiritual and Strategic Advisor

Father Artur Demkowicz is a Jesuit priest based in Kraków, Poland, serving as both a spiritual and strategic advisor to EP. Since the onset of the war in Ukraine, he has been a key partner in EP’s response—supporting one of the region’s largest early refugee evacuation efforts in collaboration with Operation White Stork, and continuing to aid communities affected by displacement and conflict. A devoted servant to his faith and his people, Father Artur also serves as president of a local orphanage caring for Polish and Ukrainian children, where a forthcoming EP–Rutgers internship will connect student educators with youth in need. With quiet conviction and boundless compassion, he embodies the kind of leadership that uplifts not only those in crisis, but everyone privileged to work beside him.
