Asem Omar Global Health Ambassador

Asem is a Global Health Ambassador with EP and a medical student in Jordan passionate about public health research, epidemiology, and health equity. With a growing research background focused on population health, disparities, and evidence-based interventions, he is committed to using data and scholarship to better understand the challenges facing underserved communities. Through his work with EP, Asem has contributed to global health initiatives that combine service and education. He played an active role in EP’s Global Health CME Conference and Wellness Retreat in Wadi Rum, supporting efforts to advance dialogue around humanitarian health, health equity, and community-centered care. His dedication to research, service, and health equity reflects EP’s mission to advance global health through education, collaboration, and meaningful community engagement.
