The recent atrocities experienced by Ukraineon behalf of the Russian war crimes has taken the lives of thousands and drastically impacted millions of lives. Ukraine is a developed country with a health system that is now in ruins.
Working alongside partner organization Operation White Stork, Emergency Project has assisted in their incredible journey to help refugees and those burden by war. So far, Operation White Stork has relocated nearly 40 thousand refugees across the border to safe locations within Europe.
Russian aggression has sought the destruction of all social systems within Ukraine, including their rail and transportation services. Emergency Project organized ateam of providers to provide a media platform, educating transportation professionals andfrontline workers on the basics of emergency response and trauma care.
With over 7 million refugees having left Ukraine, basic health care needs are now fledgling. Emergency Project and their team of providers and volunteers have personally delivered aid and health resources to those in need, while bringing women and children to safety across their western border with Poland.
